  People
High-calibre, having held director-level posts or senior design management posts in blue-chip companies
Well qualified professional engineers and physicists
Experienced in electronics, instrumentation, avionics, radar, real-time computing and networks, aeronautics and product support . . . applied to aerospace, spacecraft, defense systems, naval systems, energy management and commercial IT
Successful team players, exploiting the best communications technology to provide a fast response, operating as a networked organization.

Examples of our current and recent projects are -

Reliability & risk assessment of conventional wells, Intelligent Wells and new Intelligent Well architectures, and of a range of different downhole equipment (for oil operators and for equipment vendors);
Advising on better requirement specifications to cover reliability issues (for an oil operator);
Manufacturing quality audits of downhole equipment vendors (for an oil operator);
Coordinating the Intelligent Well Reliability Group - a Joint Industry Project involving 12 oil industry companies - operators, service companies and equipment manufacturers;
Exploring the potential exploitation of imaging technology, developed for meteorological satellites, in other industries, particularly oil & gas (for the European Space Agency, and for a JIP consortium of 4 oil operators);
Technology transfer and commercialisation of a novel plasma processing technology (for British Aerospace).
