The Results (of FMECA)

The results are in the form of a top-down analysis and comparison of the failure modes, effects and criticalities of the candidate systems, with recommendations for improved reliability.
The analysis results are suitable for use -
	by an equipment manufacturer as a marketing tool and as an engineering management too
	by an operator, for incorporation into a Well Feasibility Study, to assist in the overall evaluation of the field development options

The calculated risk values for all the elements of each of the options are examined in detail from various points of view, to provide the required comparisons, and to highlight the critical aspects driving the risk in each option.

The results indicate which potential failures dominate the risks in the different options, and which are in the next lower level of contribution. From those results, we are able to provide recommendations on the best mitigating measures to reduce the risks in the different options
